came and went, and the winner was:
Marc Pell
Bob Brooks, benevolent dictator of Ixman (and host of Radio Free Ixman)), presents the check to 17 year old grizzled veteran Marc Pell. His longest drive was 319 yards. Not bad! Imagine what he'll do when he grows up.
The top five
Big Dog Dave Perkins (1070 am) prepares to launch. Despite his size (7 feet, 9 inches, 690 pounds), Dave was hampered by fussy pros, and having to go first. He did not therefore hit his usual 830 yards.
"See, the pro says I stand too close to the ball... after I hit it."
